Siphelele says that he used to feel as if the outside world was closed and as if he was excluded from it.
He could not see them, he could not feel them and frankly he preferred to stay indoors, alone.

“Now I know that being blind doesn’t mean the life has ended. Now I know that I still have plenty of life outside there.”
